On the occasion of World Prematurity Day (November 17th)
Through « Life to come » 360° web video, we are immersed in the experience of a very premature baby in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), inside an incubator, surrounded by her parents and hospital staff. Thanks to virtual reality, we experience the baby’s struggle for survival through her own eyes; we are able to borrow her senses to share the first moments of her life.
The video records the experience of a premature baby, little Eve, inside a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), from the subjective point of view of the baby. Viewers are able to observe interactions between the medical team and the parents, but also direct interactions of nurses and parents with the baby, explanations about care, handling and treatment, and information given to the parents about medical equipment.
